My name is Bjork Gudmundsdottir, I’m an actress and, as you can probably guess by the name, I’m from Iceland. I have performed in numerous tv series, short films and theatre performances. My greatest passion is telling compelling and complex stories about strong, flawed, witty, funny and charming women. 

I have been performing Long-Form Improv in The National Theater in Iceland for the last 6 years and improv is something I cannot live without. My most recent project is playing in the one woman show, Girls and Boys, by Dennis Kelly and in the tv series AftureIding. I have great love for Physical Theater, dancing and singing. Frequent comparison: Kristen Wiig, Jodie Comer, Cate Blanchett, Chalize Theon.

I’m represented by The Mothership Agency in Iceland and I’ve received 3 year rounded training at The Iceland University of the Arts, I have done multiple improv classes and workshops with the worlds finest Improv teachers in NY and LA  at Upright Citizen’s Brigade.

I have been in the comedy business in Iceland for 7 years, and have been performing Long Form Improv every week in The National Theatre of Iceland for 6 years.

I have performed in numerous popular tv series from Iceland and Indie films. My theater credits include The National Theater of Iceland and Iceland’s leading fringe theater hubs.
